Individual or Small Group Yoga Instruction
With decades of yoga practice under my belt, and the trained eye of an experienced bodyworker, I sense the areas of your body that most need to be gently met, opened, strengthened, and rebalanced, then custom design and guide you through a personalized yoga-based routine that will help you in so many ways! Classes are 90 minutes of personalized instruction, and include a written up or Zoom-recorded self-care routine for you to use on your own.
Yoga-To-Go, or Zoom with me!
I love to bring personalized yoga instruction to you individually, or for your group.
It’s amazing what I can do for you therapeutically through regular one-on-one zoomed private yoga instruction. I have a large screen set-up that allows me to be able to see in-detail what you are doing in your poses and thus give you the carefully worded correction suggestions you need to make the practices really come alive for you, and bring you whatever healing or improvement you are seeking.
And if you have a group of friends or some family members gathering together for a visit, or you simply would like to start a convenient class in your neighborhood or workplace; A yoga or chicong class that comes to you is a uniquely wonderful experience to bring into your lives. I work with different capabilities and needs and have created many types of enjoyable classes from gentle to challenging, for adults, kids, or seniors, inside or outdoors. Call me to begin crafting your ideal class today.
90-minute Yoga classes are $125 for up to 5 people, add $15 for each additional student. By-donation format can be arranged when linked to charity fundraising causes.
What I Teach…
I teach what I’ve come to think of as a Gentle Strength-Building Yoga, in classes that are a unique blend of quiet exploration, careful alignment, inspiration and humor. Drawing on my background of Kripalu, Iyengar, Tai-Chi, and Para-Yoga sensibilities, I lead people in compassionate self-exploration using intelligently sequenced asanas, synchronization of breath with movement, careful modification and prop use, guided breathing, visualizations, meditations, and deep rest. Sometimes I even bring my harmonium and share meditative melodic chanting.
